Tari Maria

Tari Maria dance tells the story of Mary who was chosen to be the mother of God. Even though she felt unworthy, by accepting what was asked of her she helped make the world a better place. She is the essence of what it means to meet adversity head on and gracefully transcend it. She deals with what comes, embraces it and rises above it. Created and choreographed by Tina Bailey blending ballet and Balinese dance. The music was composed by Wayan Rajeg specifically for Tina. It is a true collaboration of east meets west.
